World Top Model Exemplar 2024

Heidi Petersen is a resident of Sandy, Utah. She was born in Frederick, Maryland and moved to Salt Lake City, Utah at the age of thirteen.  After graduation, her love for helping others steered her into a career in public healthcare.

In 2015 her path was forced in a new direction after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS).   After a frustrating year and a half of isolation due to COVID and a loss of hope Heidi decided it was time to lift her head and find her purpose.  In deciding a way to challenge herself and have her year of “Becoming”, she made the decision to try pageantry and modeling.  Why?  Heidi wanted to meet like-minded women and prove to herself that even at the age of 48 and having multiple sclerosis she could walk across a stage and stand in front of a camera with confidence (even with one of her main MS symptoms is balance issues).  
In 2022 her challenge of trying one pageant turned into three pageants and in 2023 she won an international title and has been enjoying modeling opportunities. Heidi is currently the International Director for Revolutionary Pageants and advocates for diversity and inclusion within the beauty industry. Throughout this process she found the importance of balancing her life, knowing her limitations, practicing self-care, speaking her truth, and showing others that no matter what your limitations are you need to push forward and pursue your passions and dreams.  She is an Ambassador and Advocate for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and an Ambassador for Still She Rose, a wellness program for leaders, women, and teens in the pageant community.
Heidi has 2 daughters and 1 son. She enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her 3 dogs: traveling, and volunteering.  Heidi is a recipient of the 2022 and 2023 Gold President’s Volunteer Service Award.
