8 PM - Art & Fashion Show

Art isn't necessarily about making a deliberate statement. It an expression of life struggle and its beauty. There is so much mundanity about us in our daily lives, but I know that if we look for it each and every day, we can find something that truly shines.

Debra Ales is a visionary fashion designer hailing from the vibrant streets of New Orleans, Louisiana. With a career in fashion spanning over 25 years, Debra’s journey began when she relocated to the fashion capital, New York City.
Having attended the prestigious Parsons School of design, Debra cultivated her unique sense of style and refined her skills in dressmaking. Her passion for sustainability and preserving the environment led her to discover the use of dead stock fabrics and upcycled beading in her designs. By infusing new life into discarded materials, she creates stunning garments that are not only beautiful but also eco-friendly.
After raising a family in NewYork, Debra returned to her roots in Louisiana, where she now resides with her husband. Embracing her local community, she has her own custom dress design business.
With her impeccable craftsmanship and dedication to sustainability, and understanding of style she  continues to make waves in the fashion industry. Debra’s designs prove that style and sustainability can effortlessly coexist.
